(1)  Name of the Post : Dy. Registrar 

Total No. of Posts : 1-UR
Age Limit : 52
Salary : PB-III (Rs. 15,600-39,100) GP: 7,600/-
Educational Qualification 
Essential : Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks, or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC seven point scale.

Experience : 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar, or in an equivalent post, OR Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000 and above, with experience in educational administration, OR Comparable experience in a research establishment and/, or other institutions of higher education in GP of Rs. 5400/- in PB-III.


Desirable Qualification : MBA in HR/Finance, LLB. Membership oflCAI/ICW AI/ICSI.
Experience : Candidates should have leadership qualities and requisite experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Administration, Academics mate rs, Auditing and Financial procedures, Materials Management, Procurement / distribution of materials, import procedure / stores accounting, stock verification, etc. Practical expenence of using relevant software( s) in related areas is essential.

1. Administrative matters including Legal, Labour relations & laws, Public relations, Recruitments, Establishments. 2. Academic matters such as conduct of examinations, maintenance of students' records.3. Possessing expenence of handling administrative Financial Budget/Accounts matter in a responsible capacity.4. Estate Management, Materials Management and Import procedures.5. With at least 5 years working expenence m a Supervisory/Superintendent capacity with a GP of Rs. 4600/- in
a Government, Semi. Government, Financial/ Commercial organization, reputed recognized University/ Technological Institution of national standing etc. Computer literacy and ability to work independently will be preferred

Essential : MBBS Degree from recognized university including completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Experience : At least 5 years of experience in recognized large hospital of State / Central / PSU / Autonomous bodies I multi-specialty hospitals of good repute
Desirable Qualification : M.D. (Psychiatry) / DNB (Psychiatry) / MD Medicine / Cardiology. OR Post-graduate diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine.
Experience : Candidates should have minimum of 6 years experience after completing Internship out of which a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an established hospital / health centre / dispensary, attached to Institutions / public sector units. Experience : (i) Must have active habits and physique with 3 years relevant experience in the Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-. (ii)Ex-servicemen with armed forces or employees of serving, CPRF/Central or State police/CISF/Para Military/BSF personnel with arms license would be preferred. At least 3 years of experience in the Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- should be discharge responsibilities Ill Government/an Organization of national repute. Ability to lead subordinates and manage priorities on own with decision making capabilities.

Experience : 2 years of relevant experience in GP of Rs.2000/- with sufficient experience in handling Office papers & equipments/knowledge of computer application I laboratory equipments & chemicals I audio visual equipments in any Engineering I Technical Institutes like IITs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Govt. 1. General qualifications for all posts:
Good knowledge of Computer applications (on word processor, spread-sheet, presentation software etc. and OS like MS-Windows, LINUX etc.) will be a distinct plus.
2. Working experience in Hindi:
Suitable work experience in Hindi Translation/Typing/Stenography in discharging duties in Rajbhasha Cell will be an added advantage.
3. Experience:
The candidates currently working in the similar Pay Band and Grade Pay of the post advertised or who previously worked in the same Grade Pay or Pay Band similar to the post advertised shall also
be eligible to be considered for shortlisting against the post applied for.

The candidates working in higher Pay Band/Grade Pay shall also be eligible to apply against the post advertised. 

Fees and Mode of payment:Fees: (i) Rs. 50/- (Only for General and OBC candidates)
(ii). SC/ST/PwD/women categories are exempted from payment of fee.

3. Applicants desiring to apply for more than one post should fill-in and send separate applications for each post along-with the prescribed fee.

Selection Process : Selection by interview only 

The screening tests of general nature are only for the purpose of shortlisting the candidates for interview and optional at the discretion of the Selection Committee. The screening tests are purely of qualifying nature without any composite weightage, purely in order to reduce the number of candidates to be invited for the interview based on which selections are made. However, wherever specific trade test is conducted to test the professional acumen of the candidate relevant to the job, the weightage between the trade test and the interview shall be of 85: 15 ratios. 

Therefore, all the selections are made through the recommendations of the Selection Committee based on performance in interview which is intended to test various aspects of personality quotient, domain knowledge and suitability of the candidates for ready deployment for job I assignment with relevant experience, following non-availability of long term induction training or job internships or apprentice I probationary officer. 

The shortlisted candidates from the level 1 and 2, will be called for personal interview before the selection committee on a given date and time conveying through Notice Boards/Institute website and intimation through e-mail and speed post. There will not be any request entertained for change of date of screening test/interview by the individual candidates under any circumstances. The selection committee will make the merit list based on performance in the interview on common consensus basis on a 15 point scale.The results of the interview will be notified through Institute website after approval of the competent/appointing authority. No correspondence will be entertained during the process of the selection. The candidates should keep a regular watch for the related information on recruitment process available on the website only. 

The interview-cum-personal discussion/presentation by the shortlisted candidates from Level-I or Level-2 (Optional) will be the decisive point for selection of the candidate. The selection committee at its own discretion may also arrange for a group discussion of the candidates invited for interviews, besides asking them to make a Power Point Presentation (PPT) before the selection committee. However, the committee may dispense with the Power Point Presentation (PPT) and or the group discussion, at its own discretion and conduct the interview alone.

The selection committee shall draw a merit list of the successful candidates in the interview from each category. If required, the selection committee also may draw a waiting list with sufficient number of eligible candidates from each category who may be given the offer of appointment subject to their meeting/fulfilling all eligibility requirements only in case the selected candidates refuse or fail to join within the stipulated time, which may be 3-6 months in normal circumstances. The waitlist will stand ceased, once all the selected candidates have accepted and joined the positions offered. The waitlist is not a panel of candidates for filling the future vacancies arising out of resignations/ removals/ retirements/ promotions etc. after the interviews/selections are completed against each advertisement.

The activation of waiting list will not be automatic but subject to approval of the competent authority/as per Institute requirements.
